Like a library or museum, the EServer calls the websites it publishes "collections."
The EServer is a sort of online publishing house, which hosts 48 discrete websites published by disparate editors. Each of these websites is called a "collection" (along the lines of a library or museum collection), rather than discrete websites--they're all part of the EServer community, affiliated with the EServer and governed by our common policies.
